We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more
perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the
common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of
Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this
Constitution for the United States of America.
The preamble is basically for the government to set the tone
of the rest of the Constitution. It is what guides them in writing the
rest of the laws. Each line of the preamble ensures something specific
and important to every citizen. Understanding the preamble will help to
understand the rest of the Constitution and each amendment.

helping to understand the preamble more. It breaks down each phase
providing an easier answer. A more effective way to understand. It
