Amendment XVII

Amendment XVII

The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures.

This is just the first bullet of this Amendment.  The basis of the one is to create the structure of the US Senate.  Its a guide of sorts for making things work a certain way.

This is a nice picture.  Its not necessarily the the best for representing the Senate.  But it has a little point to it.  It is more or less probably the way the Senate operates or even converses on issues.
