Amendment XVI
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.
This Amendment is pretty simple. It explains the right for the government to collect taxes. Every citizen has to pay taxes no matter how little or how big the amount of money they make.
This is an interesting image. I actually think its a little funny because of sometimes this the amount of money you may owe depending on what you make. Its a spot on image though I think.
